South Devon Carnival Circuit to start 9 July.

It’s been announced that the South Devon Carnival Circuit will start in Newton Abbot on Saturday 9 July 2022.

Following the folding of the South Brent Carnival Committee, all the other processions are keen to get the show back on the road in 2022.

Ashburton have also pulled out the circuit to ‘enhance the jubilee celebrations’ whilst Torbay and Paignton have had to pull out for ‘financial reasons’ but hope to return in 2023.

On the other hand, all other processions are confirmed and looking forward to their return after 2 years. The dates for this years South Devon Carnival Circuit are:

Newton Abbot Sat 9 July at 6:30pm
Chudleigh Sat 16 July at 6:00pm
Kingsbridge Sat 23 July at 6:30pm
Teignmouth Thu 28 July at 7:00pm
Bovey Tracey Sat 6 August at 6:00pm
Ipplepen Sat 13 August at 6:30pm
Dawlish Fri 19 August at 7:00pm
