South Devon Carnivals to start 15 July.
It’s been announced that the first carnivals of the year in South Devon will start in Chudleigh on Saturday 15 July 2023.
Sadly, Newton Abbot have pulled their procession out of the calendar for 2023, the committee ‘hope to form a working party going forward’ but are planning to still hold their usual carnival week events.
Torbay Carnival will return to the streets this year thanks to Hobourne Holidays who have donated £5,000 to bring the procession back after last years cancellation due to ‘financial reasons’.
