East Devon Carnival Circuit to start 3 September.

It’s been announced that the East Devon Carnival Circuit will start in Seaton on Saturday 3 September 2022.

All the expected towns will be back with carnival processions for the return of the East Devon carnivals in 2022.

The circuit will start, as usual, in Seaton at the end of Summer. Seaton Carnival Committee have also confirmed that the procession will take the same route as usual starting on the Esplanade despite the works due to take place on the seafront.

The East Devon Carnival Circuit will take a break on the 15th October allowing Devon clubs to merge with the Somerset clubs at Taunton Carnival for the first time since 2016.

The circuit will be completed with a presentation evening held by Axminster Carnival Committee on Friday 25th November followed by Honiton Christmas Carnival planned for the 3rd December.

There are also rumours that Exeter Carnival will return in 2022 at the end of November with confirmation and more information expected in the coming months.

Axminster Sat 17 September at 8:00pm
Sidmouth Sat 24 September at 7:30pm
Budleigh Salterton Sat 1 October at 7:30pm
Exmouth Sat 8 October at 7:30pm
Ottery St Mary Sat 22 October at 7:30pm
Honiton Sat 29 October at 7:30pm

Honiton Christmas Sat 3 December at 5:30pm

The likes of Sid Vale, Nunsford Nutters, Ipplepen, Otters and many more carnival clubs are expected to take part in this years circuit.
