Ottery St Mary Carnival 2022

On Saturday 29th October, Ottery St Mary hosted their community procession as part of the Tar Barrel celebrations.

Sadly, the carnival committee decided to leave the East Devon Carnival Circuit meaning it was not financially viable for carnival clubs to attend the procession and take part. Locals were disappointed by this having seen the standard of entries at surrounding towns. I really hope Ottery will reverse their decision for 2023.

It was great to see Jiggle CC, Seaton Majorettes, Axminster Karizma Majorettes and Honiton Twirlstars supporting the procession.
